Elite SAT/ACT Foundations Course at the Houstonian Club

We work one-on-one with kids every day of our lives, and as effective as private tutoring is, it’s often not the best way to start out with SAT or ACT.

Students engage more actively in a class setting, and let’s face it, test prep is a tough pill to swallow. Most students do better by starting out in a class, learning the basics that everyone needs to know, and then moving to private tutoring to work on individual pitfalls.

This course is special because we are private tutors who also happen to have classroom experience. We know how to teach each student as an individual, and even in a class of 12 people, we can identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas of improvement.

The Teachers:

All have at least 4 years of experience. For the first few classes, the instructor will be Errolynn Zetar, a developer of the materials and one of Houston’s most highly sought-after tutors for standardized testing. Currently, many school counselors refer their tutoring students to Errolynn.  Errolynn will only be teaching courses at the Houstonian. She runs all instructor trainings for All-in-One Applications, and any future teacher will have to undergo rigorous certification to take on this extremely selective position. We have worked hard to create a reputation of excellence, and that standard, which exceeds that of any competitor, is what we will continue to maintain in our partnership with the Houstonian.

The Materials:

Written by All-in-One founders, Jamil Driscoll and Jessica Givens, and the Director of Test Preparation, Errolynn Zetar, the All-in-One ACT/SAT materials are different and better than anything else available in the Houston market. We have a combined 20 years of experience with test preparation, and we have brought everything we know to the table to create workbooks and guidelines that can assist any student in the preparation process. While our competitors strive to capitalize on the difference between the SAT and ACT by creating totally separate manuals and courses, our course materials reveal the overlap in the two exams and seamlessly transition from preparing for the SAT into the ACT.

The Course Structure:

The course is divided into 8 sessions of 3 hours each.

While most other courses require separate enrollment for SAT and ACT, the All-in-One Applications course covers both exams.

The first five sessions will be spent preparing for the SAT, and the last three sessions will be devoted to the ACT.

Number of Students in the Course:

While other courses in Houston enroll as many as 30 students in an SAT or ACT course, the All-in-One Applications course will set its maximum at 12.
